Refund and Cancellation Policy

Return Eligibility and Timeframe

  • Customers may request a refund or exchange within 30 days of receiving their order. To be eligible, products must be unused, unaltered and in their original packaging with all tags attached.

  • Custom or made‑to‑order items are non‑returnable unless they arrive defective.

Initiating a Return

  2. Our team will provide a return authorization and instructions for shipping your item back to us.

  3. Unless the item was defective or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service; Merkato LLC is not liable for items lost in transit.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • If you haven’t received a refund after the stated period, please check your bank and contact your payment provider. If further assistance is needed, reach out to us at the email address above.

Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement as long as they have not yet been shipped. To cancel, contact us immediately via email or phone.

  • Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. It must be processed as a return under the terms stated above.
